Fire Chief Pascal Arnes spent 32 years with the Decatur Township Fire Department, serving the last 10 years as chief. He now serves as Fire Chief for the Mooresville Fire Department. He is also an active 28-year veteran of law enforcement with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, currently as a Sergeant assigned to the Motorcycle Traffic Unit.

He holds a BS in Homeland Security and Public Safety from Vincennes University and an MBA with Business Analytics from the University of Southern Indiana.
Chief Arnes serves on the Indiana Fire Chief’s Association Board of Directors and is a Past President of the organization. He currently serves as the By-Laws Committee Chair and on the Legislative and Planning Committees.
Arnes is active in Emergency Management and previously served as the Indiana Department of Homeland Security’s SEOC Manager. Arnes continues as the lead Incident Commander for the IDHS Incident Management Assistance Team and still assists in the SEOC when needed as a back-up SEOC Manager and the ESF-4 desk. He also serves as the Morgan County Local Emergency Planning Council Chairperson.

Arnes is the President of the Safe Haven Baby Box Board of Directors, supporting nationwide initiatives focused on saving abandoned infants and promoting safe-surrender laws. He is the Logistics Section Chief for the Hoosier Burn Camp, supporting burn survivors and staff during their summer camp experience and other events throughout the year.
